Operation for boy, 9, shot in leg by airgun

A BOY aged nine underwent surgery yesterday to remove a pellet from his leg after he was shot with an airgun. Ryan Leatham, was playing in a friend's back garden when he was hit by a shot fired from a nearby wood. The pellet became embedded in his calf, leaving blood streaming down his leg.
