Man shot in the face as he walked home

A MAN was shot in the face as he made his way home from a night out. The 39-year-old had to have hospital treatment to remove a pellet from his cheek after he was shot with an airgun.

Air rifle shootings believed to be 'linked'

Police believe that two air rifle shootings in County Londonderry at the weekend, are connected. Two teenagers sustained injury during separate incidents in the Portstewart area on Sunday evening.

Car passenger shoots jogger with air rifle

A runner was left bleeding and bruised after he was shot with an air rifle fired from a car. Bert Glover was running through Crystal Palace when a car with blacked-out windows slowed down beside him. He saw what he said looked like a machine gun come out of the back window and the next thing he knew he was thrown to the ground.

Jail for man who waved airgun in teenager's face

A 25-YEAR-OLD man who pointed an airgun in a teenager's face has been jailed for a year. Shazad Ahmed pulled an air gun twice on the boy in Tilehurst before dumping it under a bush following a police chase.
