The former MSP - an antiairgun campaigner - was at home with his wife and toddler daughter at the time.
Police discovered holes in the front window of their Glasgow home which they suspect were made by airgun pellets.
Last night, Tommy revealed he and wife Gail - who have a two-year-old daughter, Gabrielle - were shattered by the attack.
