A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a man was shot in the eye with what police believe to be an airgun. The victim, a 30-year-old man from Birmingham, was picking up a van he had bought on Langton Road in Kirkby on Tuesday when the incident happened. He is still being treated in hospital and doctors say they are worried about the man's sight in his left eye.
